From an early age, Kristine was drawn to the vibrancy of Chinese medicine and would visit San Francisco's Chinatown time and again. She was fascinated by the varieties of tea and herbal medicinals she found there and made a point of learning more and more about them each time she revisited the colorful district. Kristine's education in Traditional Chinese medicine began in 1998, where she learned the foundations of Chinese Medicine Theory, along with Traditional Amma and Shiatsu Therapy at the Shiatsu Institute in San Francisco. After years of maintaining a private practice in Manual Massage Therapy, looking to deepen her multidisciplinary approach to wellness, Kristine decided to pursue a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture with an emphasis in integrative sports medicine. Kristine completed a post-graduate advanced training apprenticeship with Whitfield Reaves, L.Ac. in sports medicine acupuncture. Her recent field of study includes the integration of Functional Medicine approaches with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Deeply committed to the field of integrative medicine in both theory and practice, Kristine has remained true to her original vision and brings with her a rich background of education and experience. She successfully treats stress related conditions such as anxiety & depression, degenerative physical conditions including musculoskeletal disorders and women' s health including menopausal, hormonal and adrenal imbalances. She integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Functional Nutrition, Manual Therapy techniques, Cupping and Cosmetic Acupuncture.
